Mr. Philip Clarke

Mr. Philip Clarke, Vice President, was born into Methodism as a part of his family’s heritage in Savannah Sound, Eleuthera and has been involved in church ministry throughout his life, particularly during the 1960’s in the areas of youth camps. He currently serves as a Lay Preacher and Vice President of the Conference.
He is a graduate of Queen’s College in Nassau. As a professional Leader in the Bahamas, Commander Clarke presently holds the job of Assistant Captain Coral Harbour (Deputy Base Commander), of The Royal Bahamas Defence Force. Having attended numerous courses and seminars over the many years of employment, in February 2011, he attended a Comprehensive Security Response to Terrorism in Honolulu, Hawaii.
He is a member of The Ascension Methodist Church in the East (on Prince Charles) and serves along with his wife, Arnetta who is the current Congregational Board Chairperson.
